During your initial visit to MSL Surgery, our doctors, Dr. Frank Paletta and Dr. Mo Banki, will work with you to create a personalized treatment plan. We will begin with an examination to determine a diagnosis and provide various treatment options. In some cases, you may also receive surgery in the same appointment, as well as a follow-up appointment.
When you come for your first visit, we ask that you bring the following information:
- Referral slip from your doctor or dentist.
- Any applicable X-rays. Please have your referring doctor or dentist send these to our office. If this is not possible, you may pick them up on your way to our office.
- List of current medications or conditions. This will help us better recognize and plan according to your needs.
IMPORTANT: if patients are under the age of 18, they must have a parent or legal guardian present with them during the consultation.
If your planned treatment requires IV sedation, you will require a preoperative consultation and a physical exam. Our oral surgeons want to ensure that you are healthy enough for heavy sedation. For patients who receive IV sedation, please avoid food and drink for at least 8 hours prior to your scheduled surgery time.
In case of emergency, please contact our practice immediately and explain your situation. We will do our best to get you into our office on the same day.
